Okay. Well. I guess I'm just. Me. There's not really much more to it than that. Well there is obviously but it's hard to sum up into one or two words so here we go.
I love to help people. As if it's my "calling". Someone once said, "The greatest personal gratification you can hope to achieve is the gratification of helping others less fortunate than yourself." and I pretty well live by this.
Also, I remember things, little unimportant snippets of my life, small actions and phrases of other people, and I try my best to learn from these things by thinking about it and coming up with huge theories on how the world interacts and, stuff...
I'm still in High School, and my favourite subject of all time would have to be Society and Culture very closely followed by Modern History. I just absolutely love them and see constantly how they tie into everything around me. As i said. I'm always trying to find connections in things, even if they aren't there.
This may sound weird but I. Love. School. Yes, sometimes I don't like going to school when I have a subject like Maths, But I love seeing my friends everyday (they really enliven my live and keep up my spirits) and I love learning and my teachers well.. teach me.. stuff (as you've probably noticed, I use the word "Stuff" a lot. It really is a great word, anyway, back on track) a teacher once said to me "The day you stop learning is the day you're dead" and I've chosen to live by this too I suppose. (see the things other say really make an impact on me) the same teacher also said to me "people don't have to EARN respect. They should be given it, because they are living" and this changed me and my views on how I should respect everyone and not just those who show respect to everyone else, I did already respect people but I didn't HAVE respect for everyone, I just treated them with it.
I guess I'm trying to say that I respect everyone, and believe everyone should do the same no matter the colour, religion, gender, sexuality, or even if they like butter on the bottom of their toast or shower with their clothes on.
hmm. *strokes beardless chin*
Music. Well. I guesssss it influences me but not nearly as much as some. I listen to a lot of music. My music taste is a lot like my personality. I'm open to new music just as I am open to new people, ideas and opinions and I'm flexible to change plus, I don't really let things bother me well, I try to not let it :).
I read, I admit it, I. Am. A. Bookworm. But I'm not the writing type, last time I tried to write a story that I wasn't being assessed on for English it failed. Epic-ly. I made my friend burn it, and she was happy to.
I really love those "Demotivational Posters". I think that is may be to blame for my short undetailed sentences, as if I'm trying to say everything in a title word and a sub-sentence to elaborate on the first. And I just noticed, if I wrote something I read it very quickly, even where I've put in commas and full stops.
I've grown up in a small town with it's own kind of language, if you've ever met someone from the small town of "Broken Hill, Australia" you would understand what I mean, but if not, I can explain, Broken Hill folk, are quite friendly, everyone knows everyone and everything about everyone (It's a small town, riddled with gossip and rumour)Broken Hill has a unique history, it was settled by the Cornish ,we have "pasties" too that are different to the Cornish Pastie" anyway that's history stuff. So. We have a kind of strange English where everyone adds words that aren't needed, give nicknames to EVERYTHING. Ok so when you ask some one where they are going you say "Where you going to?" and if you're saying "Where is that?" you say "Where's that to?" (admittedly I know a lot of people NOW who don't do this, thank goodness, but the older generations do) Broken Hill is also very far from the capital city of its state. the capital city which is closest which is the capital city of another state. So. Broken Hill is close to a state border, and really far from everything else in it's own state, we have a lot of interstate qualities, which you can only really understand if you visit Broken Hill, and the Capital Cities to see the differences across the land (they are actually quite large distances, so no walking C:) OH and Broken Hill is in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert :)
My friends. Teach me, and have taught me, about life, about love and they've helped me, through all the shit life has thrown at me, picked me up when I couldn't find the courage, strength or motivation to do it myself. I love them, with all my heart, lungs and every other organ I need to survive.
hmm.. I should mention my family. I have a BIG complicated family but I live with 3 of my 8 Brothers and my sister lives in Victoria, Australia. and I live with my Dad and Step-mum who's more of a mother to me than any other human being has ever been so I simply call her "Mum".
That's all for now
